Combining the best of both the analogue and digital worlds, Heyday Studio offers high-end vintage analogue equipment and state of the art digital recording tools for recording, mixing and mastering. I use a SSL 4000 E console (an absolutely top-class console), a Studer A820 analog tape machine, a lot of great outboard gear (all the biggest names in audio) and a big range of classic and vintage microphones. For the creation of arrangements and for editing purposes, I offer two Pro Tools systems and a wide range of plugins. However, it is my philosophy that the perfect sound also relies on the quality of the equipment in front of the microphones (a great variety of top-notch amps, guitars, basses as well as a drum set are available at no extra cost) and, this is very important for me, a personal and familiar atmosphere. As a band producer, I take care of creating the unique sound you have been looking for and refining the arrangements of your songs (and, occasionally, ironing out musical problems). As an experienced professional musician, I can offer bands a lot of information they may need down the road (information that is not connected to the recording process).
